Can I restore an email from a previous backup?
Yes you can restore emails from your previous backup by using our Point in Time snapshot recovery feature.
Please follow the below steps for this:
Step 1: Log in to the SysCloud backup application using your administrator credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to Archives and select Gmail under Google Workspace.

Step 3: Click the user account to view the archived Gmail data.

Step 4: From the Archives page click on the snapshot dates section to select the date you want to restore the email version of that email and click on Apply, you will see all the emails backed up for that day.


Step 5: Search for the email you want to back on the search bar and with the subject of the email and click enter, once the email is listed click on the check box and click on Restore.


Step 6: In the Restore pop-up window, select the required snapshot date and time, choose the destination email account where you want to restore the email(s), and then click Restore to begin the restoration process.

Step 7: To view the restore status, go to Reports > Restore Reports.
