Can I select an older backup date?
Yes, you can select an older backup date for restoration. When performing a restore, you have the option to manually select a specific date in the UI. This allows you to restore files from a specific snapshot date, rather than just the latest available data. This feature provides flexibility to retrieve older versions of your data if needed.
To select an older backup date in SysCloud, you can use the snapshot feature in the Archives section. Here are the steps to follow:
- Log into your account using your SysCloud credentials.
- Navigate to the "Archives" section.
- Search for the username and access their archives.
- Select Google Drive and Click on the dates and choose the desired date range. Upon confirmation, you'll be able to view all files backed up on those specific dates along with their respective versions.
This allows you to restore files from a specific date by selecting the corresponding snapshot date.
