How to restore Google Classroom Announcement data from the SysCloud application?

Follow the steps below to restore the Google Classroom Announcement data from SysCloud backup application:

Step 1: Log in to SysCloud using your admin credentials.

Step 2: Click the Archives tab in the top navigation bar. From the left panel, select the Google Workspace logo, and then click the Google Classroom logo to view the archived Google Classroom backup data.

Step 3: Select the classroom from which you want to restore Announcements.

Step 4: On the Archives page, if you want to restore a specific version of a file, use the Snapshot feature. Select the backup date from which you want to restore the item, then click Apply.

Step 5: Click Announcements tab, select Announcement(s) you want to restore, and then click Restore.

Step 5: In the Restore - Announcements pop-up, Add an optional comment to be displayed in the restore report, and then click Restore.

Text formatting applied to the announcement, comments, rubrics, and originality report will not be restored. The announcement will be restored to a new folder, and the name will include the suffix ‘via SysCloud web app’

Step 6: To view the restore status, go to Reports > Restore Reports. If the restore fails or completes with errors, click the count under the Items count column to view the Errors and Limitations.
