How can I use SysCloud Public API to retrieve insights into my backups?

SysCloud Public API lets you programmatically access backup metadata and reporting details so you can build custom dashboards, automate audits, and monitor backup operations outside the SysCloud UI. It is designed to help you retrieve key backup insights such as job configuration, backup inventory, and restore/export activity. 

What insights can I retrieve using the Public API? 

Using the Public API, you can retrieve: 

• Jobs: backup job details such as job configuration and status
• Entities: inventory of backed-up objects (entities) associated with your configured services
• Restore Reports: details of restores
• Export Reports: details of exports
• Trends: backup-related trends and usage insights (where supported)
