How do I filter the email (Gmail or Outlook) data in the backup archives?
SysCloud allows administrators to filter and access specific versions of Gmail or Outlook emails stored in the backup archives using the Snapshot Date filter. This is useful for restoring specific versions, auditing changes, or verifying data integrity over time.
Follow the steps below to filter your email data in the backup archives:
- Go to the SysCloud login page and enter your admin credentials (username and password), then click Login.
- On the dashboard, click the Archives tab from the left-hand menu.
- In the Archives section, select the email service you want to filter — either Gmail or Outlook
- Once inside the selected service, click on the Snapshot Date filter.
- In the filter options:
- Choose the From Snapshot date and time to set the starting point.
- Choose the To Snapshot date and time to set the ending point.
- To view a specific snapshot, select the same date and time for both fields.
- To view a range of versions, select different dates. - Click Apply or Search to view the filtered backup data.
You can use the Snapshot Date filter to restore specific email versions, audit historical changes, or verify data integrity across backup points.
Why Use the Snapshot Date Filter?
- Restore Specific Versions of emails based on backup time.
- Audit Changes by comparing content across snapshots.
- Ensure Data Integrity by validating backup completeness over time
