How do I view the backup error notification for a user in the SysCloud Application?

SysCloud provides visibility into unresolved backup errors and platform limitations directly within the application. These errors are tracked in the usereventdetails table and displayed on the user interface for quick access and resolution. 

Follow the steps below to view backup error notifications:

Use the Dashboard Quick Link

  • From the Home screen, click on Errors and limitations under the Quick links section.

  • You will see a summary of Unresolved errors and Limitations for each cloud application.

  • Click the error count to view affected users and the type of issue (e.g., backup, restore, or export). 

Go to the Archives tab

  • Click on Archives from the top menu. 
  • Select the Backup errors tab under User archives

  • Use filters (e.g., unresolved, verification in progress) to locate specific issues. 
  • Each row will display the event description and the resolution steps. 
View detailed resolution
  • Click on the error message (e.g., "The backup failed because...") to expand it. 
  • The resolution pane will show detailed guidance, such as verifying the user’s license type or mailbox status.
