How to enable backup for video and audio files for Microsoft 365 Apps?
By default, video and audio files in your Microsoft 365 apps will not be backed up. However, if you wish to backup audio and video files available on supported Microsoft 365 apps, please follow these steps:
Turbo UI:
Step 1: Login to SysCloud with admin credentials.
Step 2: Click Jobs from the top navigation menu.
Step 3:
- For a new job: You can create a new backup job by clicking on ‘create new backup job ’ and proceed to Step 4: Select apps in the flow.

- For an existing backup Job: Open the existing backup job for which you want to change the retention period and in the Job details side tray that pops up, click Edit and proceed to proceed to proceed to Step 4: Select apps in the flow.

Step 3: Go to the fourth step in the job creation flow ‘Select apps’ and click the pencil icon next to the 'Apps' column.

Step 4: Click on the ‘pencil icon' next to Custom under the exclusion’s column for supported Microsoft 365 apps.

Step 5: In the window that opens, we can decide whether to include Audio or Video files on the backup (by default unchecked) and to exclude specific file types from backup based on just extension, by Size or both.

Step 6: Click Next through the remaining steps in the backup job creation or edit flow. In the Define action flows step, click Start Backup to save the changes and apply them to the backup job.
Video and audio files that are attached to emails and not converted into OneDrive file links will be available in the email backup archives. However, if video or audio attachments are converted into OneDrive links due to attachment size restrictions, they will be backed up according to the settings described in this article.
