How to export OneDrive files?

Follow these steps to export OneDrive files from the SysCloud backup application.

This article applies to the Turbo backup version.

Steps

Step 1: Log in to the SysCloud backup application using your credentials.

Step 2: Go to Archives.

  

Step 3: From the cloud navigation bar on the left, select Microsoft 365.

  

Step 4: Under Microsoft 365, select OneDrive.

  

Step 5: Select the user whose OneDrive archive contains the files you want to export.

  

Step 6: Select the required Snapshot Date. The snapshot date determines the backup version of the OneDrive data that will be exported.

  

Step 7: For point-in-time export, click on the snapshot date to change it. Select the desired snapshot date & time in To & From. Then click on Apply.

  

Step 8: Browse the folder structure from the left navigation panel or use the search option to locate the folder you want to restore.

  

Step 9: Select the checkbox next to the OneDrive file or folder you want to export. To export multiple files, select the checkboxes next to all required files.

  

Step 10: Click Export.

  

Step 11: In the Export - OneDrive pop-up, verify the selected files and snapshot date.

  

Step 12: Add a comment, if required. The comment will be shown in the export report.

  

Step 13: Click Export.

  

The export process will be initiated for the selected OneDrive files.

View export status

To view the export status, go to Reports > Export report.

The exported data will be available for download from the export report when the export is complete. The download link remains active for 7 days. After unzipping, the original file formats are retained.

  

You can export a single file, multiple files, or the entire OneDrive archive, depending on the selection made in the OneDrive archive view. The exported contents are downloaded as a zipped file.
