Is it mandatory to upload an audit log to detect anomalies?

No, uploading an audit log is not mandatory as part of the Data Change Insights add-on. However, it is recommended. Historical data enables SysCloud’s algorithm to identify deviations from normal behavior by considering:

• Trend Analysis
  Analyzes patterns in data changes over time.
• Seasonality
  Accounts for periodic fluctuations, such as end-of-month reconciliations or quarterly audits.

Without access to historical data, SysCloud will solely rely on latest backed-up data to detect anomalies.
