What is archival retention period?

The archival retention period is the duration for which archived data is stored. It defines how long your organization’s archived files, emails, and other data remain accessible with SysCloud.
Archival retention in SysCloud
SysCloud offers two types of archival retention periods:

Unlimited Retention: Retain your archived data indefinitely.

Custom Retention: Define a specific retention period based on your organization's policies or compliance needs.
Setting the archival retention period
You can set the archival retention period:

During custom archival policies: Set the archival retention period while creating a custom policy to automatically archive data based on predefined rules. Learn how to create a custom archival policy.
