Can I disable the backup process for suspended accounts in my domain?
Yes, SysCloud allows you to stop backups for suspended accounts in your domain.
When creating a new backup job, you can control which users are included in the scope:
- During Step 3: Select Scope, use filters to exclude suspended or deleted users from the backup job.
Additionally, you can manage existing backups for inactive accounts using Inactive User Retention Policies:
- Set up a retention policy to automatically remove suspended or deleted users from backups once the defined retention period has passed.
- This ensures that backups for such accounts are discontinued, and storage is optimized.
Adjusting your backup scope and retention policies helps maintain a clean and compliant backup environment.
