What happens if I enable compliance monitoring when creating a backup job in the SysCloud backup application?
If compliance monitoring is enabled for your backup job, SysCloud inspects the data being backed up for a wide range of compliance issues and the presence of sensitive information. When compliance gaps are detected, SysCloud flags the issues via the backup dashboard. Administrators can take necessary actions such as transferring ownership or taking over the ownership of the flagged files.
SysCloud compliance monitoring scans the backed-up data for the following:
- PCI
- FERPA
- HIPAA
- Movies and Audio filter
- Individual Education Plan
- Sensitive Auth Data
- Confidential Data
