How to export an entire Team from the SysCloud backup application?

Follow the steps below to export the MS Team’s data from the SysCloud backup application: 

Step 1: Log in to SysCloud using your admin credentials.  

Step 2: Click on “Archives” and select “Microsoft Teams” from the Side Navigation Panel.  

Step 3: Select the Teams account you want to export from the list by clicking the checkbox next to the name and click on Export.

Step 4: In the export pop-up box, add any comments to be shown in the export report (optional) and click on Export to confirm the export.  

You can view the export status and access the download link from Reports > Export report. The export download link remains active for 7 days. After the link expires, you must initiate the export again to generate a new download link.

  • The exported Team is downloaded as a ZIP file. The export includes the supported backed-up data available for the selected Team, such as Team-level archive data, channels, and associated Team SharePoint content based on what is available in the backup archive.

  • Files are exported in their original/native format inside the ZIP package.
