How to export the entire service: Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sites, or Contact?

Follow these steps to export an entire Google Workspace service archive for a selected user.

Steps

Step 1: Log in to the SysCloud backup application using your credentials.

Step 2: Go to Archives.

Step 3: From the cloud navigation bar on the left, select Google Workspace.

Step 4: Go to the App archives tab.

Step 5: Select the service you want to export. For example:

• Gmail
• Google Drive
• Calendar
• Contacts
• Google Sites (Legacy)
    

Step 6: Select the checkbox next to the user whose service archive you want to export.

Step 7: Click Export.

Step 8: In the Export - App pop-up, select the required snapshot date for Point-in-time export.

Step 9: Add a comment, if required. The comment will be shown in the export report.

Step 10: Click Export.

The export process will be initiated for the selected service archive.

Step 11:View export status: Go to Reports > Export report to check the export status and download the exported data when it is ready. The download link is available for 7 days. The contents will be downloaded in a zipped file.

Google Drive and Shared Drive Export formats:

The existing folder structure is retained after export.

When Gmail data is exported, emails are exported in EML format with attachments intact. Supported attachments are retained in their original format.
