How to delete archives from the SysCloud backup application?
Note:
- Only the account holder has the authority to delete items from the archive.
- Deletions are "soft deletes;" they can be undone within 30 days.
- Upon any deletion action, all SysCloud admins linked to the account are notified.
Step 1: Log in to the SysCloud backup application.
Step 2: Navigate to the "Archives."
Step 3: Select the user archives, domain archives, Shared Drives, workspaces, companies, or accounts you wish to delete.
Note:
Deletions can be performed at different levels depending on the necessity:
- User-level: Entire user data from a specific app, such as Gmail, can be deleted.
- Account-level: All data associated with a particular account can be removed.
- App-level: Data from an entire application for one or more users can be deleted. However, it is not possible to delete selective items within an app; for example, individual emails within a user's Gmail cannot be selectively removed.
Step 4: Click on the “Delete” button to proceed with the deletion.
Step 5: SysCloud requires authentication to ensure security. Click on the "password" field to input your credentials and enter the 6-digit code displayed on your authenticator app.
Step 6: Click on the "Verify" button to finalize the deletion process and then click on "Delete" to delete the selected archives.
