How to export Google Workspace contacts  

Follow these steps to export Google Workspace contacts from the SysCloud backup application.

Steps

Step 1: Log in to the SysCloud backup application using your credentials.

Step 2: Go to Archives.

  

Step 3: From the cloud navigation bar on the left, select Google Workspace.

  

Step 4: Under Google Workspace, select Contacts.

  

Step 5: Select the user whose Google Contacts archive you want to export.

  

Step 6: The Snapshot Date on the top right shows that archive view currently appearing on the screen is of which date. To view contacts from a specific backup point in time or for a range of dates, Click on the above snapshot date.

  

Step 7: To compare the archive view for a range of dates, From & To can be selected. For a specific point in time, both From & To dates should be same. Click on Apply.

  

Step 8: In the user’s Contacts archive, select the checkboxes next to the contacts you want to export.

  

Step 9: Click Export.

  

Step 10: In the Export - Contacts pop-up, verify the snapshot date.

  

Step 11: Add a comment, if required. The comment will be shown in the export report.

  

Step 12: Click Export.

  

The export process will be initiated for the selected contacts.

Step 13: View export status: Go to Reports > Export report to check the export status and download the exported data when it is ready. The download link is available for 7 days. The contents will be downloaded in a zipped file.

  

On unzipping, the Contact are available in VCF format.

 

You can select a single contact or multiple contacts for export.
