How to trigger a manual backup for Box data?

SysCloud automatically syncs and backs up configured Box accounts once every day. To back up specific Box users before the next scheduled backup, use the Backup Now option.

Steps to trigger a manual backup for Box users

1. Log in to the SysCloud backup application using your admin credentials.
2. From the top navigation menu, click Archives.
   
     
3. From the left-side cloud navigation bar, select Box.
     
4. Select the required Box account.
     
5. In the users table, select the checkbox next to the Box user you want to back up. You can select only one Box user at a time to trigger an on-demand backup for them.
   
     
6. Click Backup Now.
     
7. In the confirmation popup, click Backup Now again.
    
   
   

SysCloud will start a manual backup for the selected Box user(s).

 

View backup progress

You can check the backup progress from the Backup Status column against the selected user(s).

After the backup is completed, the new backup snapshot will be available from the snapshot selector inside the specific user’s Box archive.
