How to trigger a manual backup for Box data?
You perform an on-demand backup for one or more Box user accounts using "Backup Now" option.
SysCloud automatically syncs and backs up the required Box account(s) once every day.
However, if you want to backup specific user account(s) at any point during the day, you can trigger a manual backup by following these steps:
- Step 1: Log in to SysCloud using your admin credentials.
- Step 2: Navigate to Archives and select Box from the Backup and Restore drop down.
- Step 3: Select the account to navigate to the users table.
-
Step 4: Click the checkbox against the user that you want to back up. Click Backup Now button and confirm.
Note: On-demand backups can only be performed at the Box user level. You can perform an on-demand backup for multiple user accounts at the same time.
A manual backup would begin for the selected users and you check the backup progress from the Backup Status column against these users. You can access these snapshots from the snapshot selector by navigating inside a specific user archive.
