How can I reconnect or re-authenticate my Microsoft 365 account?

Use this flow to reconnect Microsoft 365 to SysCloud, or to re-authenticate the account and grant updated permissions.

Steps

Step 1: Log in to the SysCloud backup application using your admin credentials.

Step 2: Click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner of the page and select Cloud Connection Center.

Step 3: On the Cloud Connection Center page, locate Microsoft 365.

Step 4: Click the Edit icon under the Action column for Microsoft 365.

Step 5: In the Microsoft 365 - Connect side tray, click Add accounts or Connect for the Microsoft 365 account that needs to be reconnected.

Step 6: Sign in to Microsoft 365 using an administrator account.

Step 7: Review the requested permissions and grant consent.

Step 8: After authorization is complete, you will be redirected back to the Cloud Connection Center.

Step 9: Verify that the Microsoft 365 account status is shown as Connected.

Reconnecting your Microsoft 365 account will not affect any actively running backups for that account.

Next step

After connecting Microsoft 365, go to Jobs and create a Microsoft 365 backup job.
