How to restore metadata types in Salesforce from the SysCloud backup application?
Follow the steps below to restore Salesforce metadata types from the SysCloud backup application:
Step 1: Log in to SysCloud using your admin credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to Archives from the main dashboard. The Archives tab displays the list of Salesforce organizations available in the backup archive. Select the organization you want to restore the metadata types from.

Step 4: Navigate to the “Metadata” tab.

Step 5: Select the metadata component from which metadata type you want to restore by selecting the checkbox next to it.

Step 6: Click “Restore.”

Limitations:
- Metadata restore depends on Salesforce API permissions and the availability of the selected metadata component in the target Salesforce organization.
- Some metadata components may require dependent metadata to be present in Salesforce before they can be restored successfully.
- Metadata components that are not supported or cannot be deployed through Salesforce APIs may not be restored.
- If the selected metadata component has validation errors or missing dependencies in Salesforce, the restore may fail.
