How to restore SharePoint Sites and Microsoft Teams Sites from the SysCloud backup archives?

Follow the steps to restore the SharePoint Sites and Microsoft Teams Sites backup:

Choose the UI version - Turbo UI | Legacy UI

Turbo UI

Step 1: Log in to SysCloud using your admin credentials.  

Step 2: Click on “Archives” and select Microsoft 365 from the Backup and Restore dropdown. Select an account and domain from the list to view your archives.  

Step 3: Navigate to the "App archives" tab and click on Sharepoint.

Step 4:  Click on SharePoint Site to view the Sites. 

Step 5: Click "Restore" in the restore pop-up screen to initiate the process. 

Similarly, you can restore Teams Site by drilling down into the Teams application in the archives and clicking on the SharePoint tab inside the Teams channel archive. 

Legacy UI

  1. Login to SysCloud application with your credentials.
    Note: You should be an Administrator to view the SharePoint & Teams Site archives.
  2. Click on “Backup” → “Archives & Restore”.

  3. Click on the “SharePoint & Team Sites” tab in the “Archives & Restore” page.

  4. This tab shows you all the available sites on the domain, irrespective of the protection status.

  5. Search for the site to be restored using the “Title” or “Status” or “Type” and click on the Title to open it.

  6. Select one or more files or folders by clicking on the checkbox on the left of the “Name” column corresponding to the file/folder. Click on “Actions” → “Restore”.

  7. Choose the check box “Create new folder for restore” if you wish to restore the folders to a custom folder and click on “Confirm”, else just click on “Confirm” to restore the folders to the original folders in the Site.
