      What are the limitations of Teams Chat backup with SysCloud?

      Here are the limitations of Teams Chat backup:

      API limitations:

      • Call recording backup, restore, and export are not supported.
      • Chats will not be restored in the same format. Each private chat will be restored as a new Team with the same name and the files will be restored to the newly created Teams’ SharePoint.
      • Any tabs added to chats will not be tracked under the Teams chat backup. 
      • Content from integrated applications is not supported in backups.
      • Messages sent via bots, reactions, announcements, and GIFs cannot be restored. 

      SysCloud limitations:

      • Files shared in Teams are stored in OneDrive and are not included in the Teams chat backup. To back up and restore these files, users must back up OneDrive separately using SysCloud.
