How to reset two-factor authentication for SysCloud backup application?
Note: Setup or reset of two-factor authentication will not be applicable for customers logging into the SysCloud application with Google or Microsoft single-sign-on.
Step 1: Log in to SysCloud application using your username and password.
Note: If you've lost your MFA device, create a support ticket for a two-factor authentication reset. This will allow you to set up your two-factor authentication upon your next login.
Step 2: Click on the profile icon on the top-right corner of the page. Select "Preferences."
Step 3: Navigate to "Preferences". Click on "Reset two-factor authentication."
Step 4: A confirmation message will appear, click on "Reset" to proceed.
Step 5: In the side tray, enter your account password and click on "Verify".
Step 6: Scan the QR code using a security app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or Duo. Alternatively, you can manually enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app.
Step 6: Click on the "Verify" button to authenticate.
Step 7: Once verified, you will see a confirmation message. Click "Ok" to finish the reset process.
Note: If you choose to exit the reset process at any point, the two-factor authentication reset will be canceled. Your existing authentication settings will remain active and unchanged.
