How to restore a single file?

Follow these steps to restore a single file from the SysCloud Backup Application:

Step 1: Log in to SysCloud using your admin credentials.  

Step 2: Click on “Archives” and select Microsoft 365 from the Backup and Restore dropdown. Select an account and domain from the list to view your archives.  

Step 3: Navigate to the user archives tab and click on a user name to drill down into their archive. 

Step 4: Select the app and select the checkbox next to the file click, "Restore".

Step 5: In the restore pop-up screen select the checkboxes, "Restore all sharing permission" and "Create a new folder for restore" options to restore files with sharing permissions and folder structure intact.

Legacy UI

  1. Log in to the SysCloud Backup Application.
  2. Click “Backup”→“Archive & Restore.”

  3. Select the required Office 365 app: Mail (Outlook), Drive (OneDrive), Contact(People), Calendar, or Sites (SharePoint).

  4. Select the file.

  5. Click “Restore” and select “Selected Items.”

  6. Select restore options if needed:
    1. Create a folder for restoring the file.
    2. Restore the file with sharing permissions
      and click “Restore.”

  7. Click “Yes” to restore the file.

    Note:

    1. You can restore only the files owned by you. For the files owned by other users, ask them to reshare the files. 
    2. If you restore an existing file, it will get updated to the backed-up version of the file.
