How to restore a folder in Microsoft 365 Applications?

Follow these steps to restore a  Microsoft 365 Application folder from the SysCloud Backup Application:

Step 1: Log in to SysCloud using your admin credentials.

Step 2: Click on “Archives” and select “Microsoft 365” from the Side Navigation Panel.

Step 3: Navigate to the user archives tab and click on a username to drill down into their archive. Click on any app in the selected user archive to view files. Here we select OneDrive as an example.

Step 4: Select the checkbox next the folder(s) you want to restore and click Restore.

Step 5: In the Restore confirmation window, review the selected items and restore destination. Verify the snapshot date and time (click here to learn how to select snapshots).

By default, data is restored to the same account from which it was deleted. To perform a cross-user restore , you can select a different account of the same domain.

Select the required restore options, such as Restore all share permissions or Create a new folder for restore, add a comment if needed, and click Restore.

Step 6: You can view the restore status from Reports > Restore report.

You can restore only the files owned by you. For the files owned by other users, ask them to reshare the files.
