You might encounter the error message “Unable to back up file due to suspended user account” in the Backup Archives (Status column) page/Dashboard (Backup Health section)/Backup Health Status Report.

Error Message: File Owner suspended in Microsoft 365

The OneDrive file backup failed because the file owner’s user account has been suspended. MS 365 API doesn’t provide a response for data of suspended users. This is a Microsoft 365 API limitation.

Solution:
