You might encounter the error message “Unable to back up files created by third-party Google Drive Add-on” in the Backup Archives (Status) page/Dashboard (Backup Health)/Backup Health Status Report.
This is a permanent error and requires a workaround.
Error Message: File not found on Google Drive
The Google Drive file could not be backed up because it was created using a Google Drive Add-on. These types of files are either not stored in Google Drive or the access to download the file is not provided by Google Drive APIs. This is a Google API application.
Solution:
Save the file manually to the user’s Google Drive and try again.
