What happens if I select the "Overwrite thread(s)" option during restore?
If you choose to overwrite when restoring data to your Shopify store, the existing versions of your products, customers, or other items will be replaced with the versions from the backup snapshot. This means that not only will deleted items be restored, but any changes made since the backup will be undone, and items will revert to how they were at the time of the backup.
If you do not select overwrite, only the deleted items will be restored, and any existing items—even if they've been modified—will stay the same, skipping any versions from the backup.
