Why was a record level change flagged as an anomaly?
SysCloud's anomaly detection identifies unusual deviations in data patterns. A record-level anomaly occurs when critical fields in a record are changed unexpectedly, deviating from normal behavior.
Why Is This Detected as an Anomaly?
SysCloud's algorithm incorporates:
- Critical Fields Monitoring: Tracks changes to specific fields deemed essential for the integrity of a record.
- Trends: Long-term patterns in changes to critical fields.
- Irregularities: Sudden, unexpected modifications to key fields.
When changes to critical fields occur outside the expected pattern, it disrupts the historical baseline, triggering an anomaly alert.
Example
If amount field in QuickBooks Online changes from $100 to $5,000, this deviation will be flagged as record level anomaly.
