How to export Slack workspace files?

Follow the steps below to export Slack workspace files from the SysCloud backup application. 

Step 1: Sign in to your SysCloud account.  

Step 2: Click on “Archives” and select Slack from the Side Navigation Panel. 

Step 3: Select your workspace from the list from where you want to export workspace files from.  

Step 4: Select “Workspace files” from the navigation bar on top.  

Step 5: Choose the files you want to export by clicking the checkbox next to them (you can choose multiple files at once). 

Click “Export” from the tab on top. 

Step 6: In the Export window, verify the selected snapshot date using the calendar icon. Add a comment, if required, and click Export.

To check the Export Status and access the download link you can proceed to Export reportunder Reports Tab.

 

Slack Workspace files will be exported are exported in their original/native format. The export download link remains active for 7 days. After the link expires, you must initiate the export again to generate a new download link.
