How to setup username and password login for SysCloud application? (for admins only)

This article summarizes how to setup username and password for your SysCloud account.

Pre-requisite:

To setup your login credentials, you have to be added as a super admin or backup admin to an existing SysCloud backup account. There are 2 ways of adding admins.

1. From the app UI, if Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Box accounts are connected.

2. Create a support ticket to add an admin, if you do not have Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Box accounts connected to your SysCloud backup account.

Once the admin is added, follow the steps below to create your login credentials.

Step 1: Go to SysCloud Login page and click on 'Forgot Password'

Step 2: Enter your email address, that was added as a super admin or backup admin to the SysCloud backup account and click on 'Send verification code'

Step 3: Check your email for the verification code. On the password reset page, enter the verification code, enter a new password, and confirm the password. Click on "Change password" to reset the password.

Note: The password must contain 

  • At least 8 characters
  • At least 1 uppercase letter
  • At least 1 special character
  • At least 1 number

Step 4: Return to the SysCloud Login page. Enter your email and new password to log in.
