Unable to restore a Slack channel
We are unable to find the Slack channel in your workspace.
This could be due to one of the following reasons -
- The URL of the Slack channel(s) might have been changed before the selected channel is restored.
- The selected channel(s) might have been deleted from the Slack workspace, before it could be picked for backup.
Resolution
- Once a channel is deleted from the workspace, it cannot be backed up. In this case, export the channel using Slack import-export tool and store it locally. Follow the steps in this article to export - Guide to export Slack data
- Re-authenticate SysCloud permission for the Slack channel, in case of an URL change. This can be done through the installation link generated in the application under this error resolution.
- If non of this works, please raise a support ticket.
