How to connect Box account to SysCloud?

 This article explains how to connect a Box account to the SysCloud backup application.  

Step 1: Log in to the SysCloud backup application.

Step 2: Click the Settings > Cloud Connection Centre.


  

Step 3: In the Clouds tab, locate Box.


  

Step 4: Under the Action column:

  • If this is the first Box account you are connecting to SysCloud, click Connect.
  • If one or more Box accounts are already connected, click the Edit connection icon for Box.
      

Step 5: In the side tray that opens: 

  • Click Connect and add accounts if this is the first Box account you are connecting.
  • Click Add accounts if other Box account(s) are already connected.

You will be redirected to the Box login pop-up window.

If browser pop-ups are disabled, SysCloud will show a message asking you to enable pop-ups. Enable browser pop-ups and retry the connection.

Step 6: In the Box login pop-up window, enter the credentials of the Box account you want to connect to SysCloud. Authorize the connection and grant the required permissions.

  

 

Step 7: Click Grant Access to Box, when prompted.
  

Step 8: After successful authorisation, return to the SysCloud app screen.

 

The selected Box account will be connected to the SysCloud backup application.
