Understanding Your Free Security Bundle Trial

SysCloud customers may be eligible to try ransomware detection, compliance monitoring, and eDiscovery metadata search for free of cost.

Overview of the Security Bundle free trial

Our Security Bundle inspects your backed up data for ransomware threats, compliance gaps and allows you to perform advanced eDiscovery metadata searches and detect malicious data and take actions. The Security Bundle is currently available for Google Workspace. The Security Bundle free trial offers the following entitlements:

• Ransomware scan: Inspect your daily backups for ransomware threats and send 10 notifications for free.
• Compliance scan: Inspect your daily backup for compliance gaps and send 10 notifications for free. Click here to review the complete list of compliance regulations that SysCloud scans for.
• eDiscovery metadata search: Search across Google Workspace domains and users to find malicious emails and suspicious files. Take action to remove potential data loss risks.

How to activate the Security Bundle free trial?

To start your free trial,

1. Login to your SysCloud account: Navigate to your Google Workspace dashboard where you’ll see the "Exclusive offer" banner.
2. Start free trial: Click the "Start free trial" CTA button. A pop-up will appear, asking which add-ons you would like to trial. You can choose to enable Ransomware scan, Compliance scan and eDiscovery meta data search.
3. Confirm: Once you confirm, the scans will automatically begin for all backed-up domains.

What happens during the scan?

• Progress tracking: As the scan progresses, you’ll see a progress bar on your dashboard showing the percentage of users scanned versus the total users in scope.
• Alert notifications: You will receive a daily summary email with the details of any ransomware threat or compliance gaps in your backed-up data.
• Duration: The scans will continue for 14 days or until 10 ransomware alerts and 10 compliance alerts are detected.

How to perform eDiscovery metadata search?

Note: Once the free trial is enabled, your data indexing begins and may take up to 72 hours to complete the same. Meanwhile, your search may return results only from the indexed data.

To perform the eDiscovery metadata search,

1. Login to your SysCloud account.

2. On the navigation bar, click on the 'Filter (funnel icon)' inside the Global Search bar.

3. In the 'Global Search' page, you can name your search and add any description, if needed.

4. In the 'Search text' field you can add any keyword you wish to search for.

5. To perform a granular search, you can choose the type of data like Email, File and Others (contacts, calendar events) from the 'Category' and add advanced filters by clicking on 'Advanced filters' link.

Note: You can add multiple categories and advanced filters in the same search.
